Frequently Asked Questions Black Friday and Cyber Monday is one of the best times of year to buy headphones on sale. This year, we’ve seen headphones from Apple, Bose, Sony, JBL, and more hit record low prices. Older and newer models alike are likely to be on sale during the shopping holiday.

It all depends on the headphones. For premium headphones with top of the line noise cancellation, all-day wear, and robust sound, $200 can be a steal. Take the $199 sale price on the Bose QuietComfort 45s — it’s not nothing, but it’s relatively affordable, especially as you’re getting a pair of headphones that’ll last you years. However, if you come across a $200 pair of earbuds without a baseline of features like long battery life, comfort, and ANC, you might be overpaying.
